Take your vacation with you on Mobile Week

I’m kinda hooked on Nimblebit’s Tiny Tower on iOS right now which prooooobably has nooooothing at all to do with what turned into this week’s themed excursions. That’s right, it’s Mobile Week at Videogame Vacation and we’re visiting seven destinations from iOS, Android and even Windows Phone 7 that you can take with you. You might even have some of them in your pocket right now!

Arrivederci Roma

Our first extended tour is now over! Thanks to everyone who watched — YouTube stats let me know at least a few of you did — and the few of you who reblogged or Heart’d some of the posts! I hope you all liked the pretty sights as much as I did.

I’ve got about a billion ideas for the next series of video posts but for at least the next week I’m going to go back to pictures. I know it’s easier for some of you to keep up with and doesn’t require more than a few seconds of load time.

If you’re still missing Italia, though, you can always rewatch Ezio’s endeavors here on tumblr through this tag or over on YouTube at this playlist. Thanks again to all of you! Grazie~

Few have scaled even the lofty floors of the Castel Sant’Angelo designed to house and entertain royalty. Fewer still have reached the highest point in Roma, the very top of the massive flagstaff at the peak of the Castel. From here the bravest few have an unsurpassed view of all of Roma!

Our first extended tour focuses on Roma, Italia as experienced in Ubisoft’s 2010 release, Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood (recorded here on Xbox 360). You can watch the videos right here on Videogame Vacation or on our YouTube playlist but be sure to switch them to 720p for the most dazzling displays I could capture!
