The Pantheon, known as The Temple of all the Gods, is one of the most well known locations in the ancient world. Located in the bustling heart of the Centro district, religious chanting can be heard wafting out of its massive doors and reverberating up its walls and through the oculus, as if reaching directly to the heavens.

Tucked away in the Southwestern most corner of Rome’s Antico district is a small town that was most famously home to La Volpe Addormentata; The Sleeping Fox. Disguised as an inn, it was actually home to the Thieves guild of Rome.

Hot on the trail of the Followers of Romulus, Ezio travels to the Vaticano district and finds a hidden entrance into the Basilica di San Pietro, or St. Peter’s Basilica. Trailing a Cardinal after Mass on a stormy morning, Ezio winds up giving chase into the highest reaches of the under-construction Basilica. After dealing with the Cardinal he dives from the rooftop into a subterranean lair of the Followers.

Within the courtyard of the Basilica di San Pietro, or St. Peter’s Basilica, sits this immense cone-shaped structure, beckoning for the attention of men of power and those who seek to free it.

Currently under construction, the Basilica di San Pietro, or St. Peter’s Basilica, is located in the Vaticanc district, protected by the Papal guard garrisoned at the nearby Castel Sant’Angelo. Hover over the entrance at middle to check out the courtyard…

Near the Southwest border of Rome, in the Antico district, sits three notable landmarks. The Egyptian-inspired Piramide Cestia is incorporated into the Aurelian Walls which connect close-by to Porta Asinaria. Near the Piramide (unseen in this video) is the entrance to the Catacombe di Roma, one of the Lairs of Romulus. Hover over the path at left to continue your journey…

Near the Southwest border of Rome, in the Antico district, this crossroad leads towards the Piramide Cestia (barely visible at left, next to the guy who doesn’t move), up the right path towards Colle Aventinus, and down into the Southernmost valley.
